happy love day.

happy valentine’s day!

hope your day was filled with love and happiness, regardless of where you were or what you were doing. the husband and I had a pretty laid back day that involved McDonald’s (hey, that’s what baby Matilda wants!) and Lars And The Real Girl, which I had never seen before but fell in love with.

{not sure where I found this image originally, but it was my desktop background for almost a year, and I think it is perfect for today – if you know where it came from, can you let me know so I can source it correctly??}

love you all!

oh how i love thee marc.

I am wishing now more than ever that I had chosen a career in fashion instead of music – its never too late right?? I am loving all the new fashion that is being sent down the runways in New York this week, and have absolutely fallen in love with Marc Jacobs’ Marc by Marc Spring collection. I mean, really?? Its perfect. It could be worn, right off the runway. In love!!! Check some of the pieces out below:

Warning!!! Another Twilight-Themed Post Is Happening Now.

I love NPR. I love how nerdy people who love NPR are. And I love that I feel smarter when listening to NPR. Because, we all agree, NPR is for smart people. Right?

So. Today, when reading some Google Reader feeds about vampires, (yes. go ahead and laugh. I have all my Twilight blogs under that category) imagine my surprise when I stumble upon THIS POST from Confessions of a TwiCrack Addict talking about Brad Meltzer revealing his vampire love on All Things Considered. A snippet below:

And with that gender gauntlet thrown, let me say to you as a meat-eating, Entourage-watching, sports-loving (OK, I really don’t love sports, or actually understand sports) — heterosexual man who can’t sit through a single show on Lifetime television, let me loudly proclaim: I, Brad Meltzer, love the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.

Now this is the part where I’m supposed to make an intellectual disclaimer like: I don’t really love it, but I appreciate it for what it is.

But let me be clear here. I love it. I love Twilight. I love Bella, and I love Edward.

Check out the rest of the article here.

I am absolutely loving vintage clothes more and more of late, as I’ve stumbled upon more and more online boutiques selling them.

Some of my favorites from Vintage Rose Clothing are below.

“Look for the woman in the dress.
If there is no woman, there is no dress.”
~ Coco Chanel ~

I have found myself more and more in love with dresses as of late.
I can’t help it. I can’t stand wearing pants –
I just want the freedom of a dress or a skirt.

Loving the ones below oh so much.

Days With My Father

Days With My Father

Found this site today and was absolutely bowled over. It is so incredibly heartbreaking, but at the same time so beautiful I couldn’t stop reading.

If you have a chance – spend 20 minutes reading the stories and looking at the pictures. It is well worth y0ur time, especially if you have ever lost someone close to you.
